Cherry Harvest 2026

For years, you’ve trusted us to bring you the highest-quality Ontario Tart Cherry Concentrate. We take pride in our roots here in Vineland, which is why we want to be completely transparent with you about a major challenge we are facing this season.
Mother Nature was incredibly tough on Ontario’s orchards this year. Due to severe, unseasonal weather, 95% of the province's cherry crop was wiped out. In addition, United States cherry crop is averaging a 30% harvest this year, with many processors not opening their plants.
With only 5% of a normal harvest available, the cost to secure the quality cherries needed to make our concentrate has skyrocketed.
We were faced with a tough choice: stop production entirely for the year or pay the premium to secure the remaining fruit so we could keep our bottles filled for you. We chose to keep pressing. Because of this, you will see an increase in the price of our cherry concentrate.
As we are heading into this new crop cycle with zero existing inventory, supply is exceptionally tight.
Due to these severe shortages, we have had to make some very difficult operational decisions to manage what little fruit is available. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process pie cherries into pails this year.
As we head into this cherry season we hope for grace and understanding as we navigate this crop and how to process it to the best of our abilities. As always, we will keep you up to date and informed with any changes that may happen.
Warmly,
The Cherrylane Team
