• 6 cups peeled, pitted and thickly sliced peaches
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon

 In a large bowl, toss the peaches with the sugar and the cornstarch. Dump into a greased 8 or 9- inch square baking dish.

In a food processor, or in a bowl with a fork or pastry blender, combine the flour, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix and mash until the mixture becomes moist and crumbly.

Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the fruit in the baking dish.

Bake at 375F for 35 – 45 minutes, until the peaches are bubbly and the topping is browned.

Makes 6 – 8 servings.
